Effective date: July 4, 2026 · Applies to the Everyday Quran iOS app and quranaday.netlify.app
We do not collect, store, or share any personal data. Everyday Quran has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
Everything. Your listening history, khatmah progress, streak, saved verses, reminder settings, downloaded audio, and (if you enable prayer-time reminders) your approximate location are stored only on your device. None of it is transmitted to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this data.
If you turn on prayer-anchored reminders, the app asks for your approximate location once to calculate local prayer times on the device itself. The calculation happens entirely offline (using the open-source adhan library). Your location never leaves your device.
Daily reminders are scheduled locally on your device. There is no push-notification server and no device tokens are collected.
To play recitations, the app fetches Quran text, translations, and audio from the public APIs of quran.com and the Quran translation CDN (cdn.jsdelivr.net). These requests contain no personal information beyond what any internet request technically includes (such as an IP address, which we never see or store). Their handling is governed by those services' own policies.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
If our practices ever change, this page will be updated before any change takes effect.
